Brian L. Cesarski, MSPT- Licensed
Physical Therapist
Brian, is a 2000 graduate of the New York Institute of Technology,
Old Westbury, New York. He holds a Master of Science degree
in physical therapy with an honors distinction and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Life Science with a Physical Therapy
option, summa cum laude. In addition, Brian holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Business/Marketing from Towson University
('93) in Towson, Maryland where he attended on a four-year
lacrosse scholarship.
Brian was a member of the NCAA Division I. Men's Lacrosse
1991 Finalist and 1992 Quarterfinalist teams. Team sport
participation and his enthusiasm and interest in all sports
laid the foundation to pursuing a career in sports/injuries...thus,
physical therapy. He is a professional member of the American
Physical Therapy Association and Texas Physical Therapy
Association.
Upon graduation from physical therapy school, Brian Cesarski
practiced as a staff therapist at NYU Medical Center - Rusk
Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and the U.S Athletic
Training Center in New York City. His clinical interests
are in orthopedics and sports injuries. Brian transitioned
to traveling physical therapy under Therex (previously
National Rehab Partners, Inc.), and held various responsibilities
as a staff therapist to director of rehabilitation. As a
traveler Brian was fortunate to work in various physical
therapy settings and used that experience to become a director
of rehabilitation.
Upon relocating to the Houston, Texas area , Brian managed
the Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Health Center Physical Therapy
Facility, and the NRG Wellness Center in Sugar Land, Texas
as a director of physical therapy and rehabilitation in
both. In March 2005, Brian established Cesarski Physical
Therapy located at JDH & Associates - Spine & Sports
Therapy in
Houston, Texas. His goal is to provide a quality, personal,
and an atypical physical therapy experience for his patients.
Brian enjoys all aspects of orthopedic physical therapy.
His entrepreneurial zest is catalyzed by the decline of
personalized attention and the rise of the "to busy,
very delegated, non- attentive, and impersonal" physical
therapy services most clinics now deliver....and what managed
care has helped create in recent years.
Brian's wife, Sharon, also a native New Yorker, is a high
school teacher in Fort Bend ISD. Together they enjoy outdoor
activities, traveling, animals, fitness, family, friends,
sports participation, spectator sports, and spending time
with their pet Boxer "Sidney".
